Students Achieving Global Excellence

Expeditions

“What is an Expeditionary Learning school? A school where you try to find things out for yourself. The teacher doesn't just tell you.”

The expeditionary learning model is all about being inspired and impassioned to learn. Students show a much higher level of learning and retaining in this type of environment. Through regular expeditions, thematic curriculum and experiential lesson plans, students and staff create a school-wide culture of a love for learning.

Some of our recent expeditions include:

  • Renaissance Fair – Diverse culture and fine arts
  • Science Museum of Minnesota – Omni Theatre production and exhibit on the Titanic
